Yesterday many people around the world celebrated Easter. To a Christian, Easter represents the basis of their faith. It represents Jesus breaking the chains of death and being resurrected just 3 days after He paid the ultimate price for sin, His death. This should be a joyous day, filled with faith, love, and family. But so many people forget this. It isn’t just a holiday thing, it is an every day thing. You can’t go on social media without seeing it. Friends are bashing each other, people looking for a little human kindness are treated with racial or socio-economic slurs. It’s easy to forget how fortunate we are, when so much goes wrong in our lives. It’s easier to make someone else feel worse then to try to fix the problems in our own lives. And it’s so easy to look at someone in need and judge them, telling ourselves that it could never happen to me. But in light of all this you need to remember no matter your faith, a lot can change in 3 days. So God Bless, and I hope you all had a joyous Easter.
