I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
After finishing the fist book in this series I was eager to start this book. I can say that I was not disappointed in the least. The author is showing a strong grasp of character development (more so then in the first book in my opinion). The story follows Sophia as she starts to accept her new role as the chosen one or savior of the Diasodz race. I love how real this character is, you can feel her doubt and fears right along with her. I was so wrapped up in this story that I had a hard time putting it down. The plot twists and cliff hanger ending left me breathless and I can not wait until the next book comes out. I find that to be the hardest part of this series, the wait. I was almost in tears as I read the ending and then BAM I have to wait. Needless to say this is turning into one of my favorite YA book series this year. I highly recommend this series to anyone who has the time to get lost in the story just be prepared to have your heart broken a time or two.
